Edwind is a versatile marine professional with extensive experience across the maritime, shipping and oil & gas industries. Over 13 years of marine surveying, he has specialised in bulk liquids inspections, marine cargo claims, and water sampling and testing carried out to regulatory standards.
He holds a BSc in Maritime & Logistics Management from the University of Tasmania and is currently completing an MBA in Maritime. His credentials include certification as a Maritime Internal Auditor and Inspector of Petroleum Products, alongside a Diploma in Marine Surveying.
His track record spans leading firms — DNV Petroleum Services, Sedgwick Australia and Intertek Testing Services — where he managed marine insurance claims, conducted detailed inspections and ensured regulatory compliance before founding Alcel Marine.
